Responsibilities
- Supervise staff: assign work, conduct performance evaluations, ensure training and succession planning, and enforce policies/procedures
- Develop, analyze and formulate annual Fleet & Facilities budgets and provide guidelines on budget processes
- Review staffing and capital requests; forecast funds needed for staffing, equipment and projects
- Prepare financial forecasts and identify potential budget overruns; coordinate solutions with management
- Assist in preparation and delivery of departmental budget presentations
- Conduct organizational, procedural and systems analyses and recommend improvements
- Perform benchmark analysis and present concise verbal and written reports
- Participate in special projects and research new/existing programs and services
Education
- Master’s degree in Public Administration, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (required)
- Candidates without the Master's may be considered with additional relevant work experience
