Responsibilities
- Define AI architecture and guide leadership on compatible technologies
- Establish and lead an AI Governance Board and develop AI policies
- Perform risk assessments, monitoring, and compliance for AI deployments
- Identify departmental business processes that can benefit from AI and recommend solutions
- Collaborate with security, data scientists, and IT teams to implement AI systems and infrastructure
- Develop and deploy machine learning models and convert them into APIs for integration
- Draft policies, procedures, and technical specifications to support AI initiatives
- Lead stakeholder meetings to ensure regulatory and CJIS compliance
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Candidates without the degree requirement may be considered with additional relevant work experience
