Responsibilities
- Supervise, assign, review and participate in mechanics’ work at the North Service Center
- Prioritize and assign workload, monitor team performance and provide guidance to management
- Manage repair and preventative maintenance of vehicles and city equipment
- Diagnose technical issues and determine proper solutions
- Respond to emergency situations and adjust operations as needed
- Provide consistent, high-quality customer service and support
- Enforce safety practices and address occupational hazards
- Assist with training, performance evaluation and staff development
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Specialized training in automotive/mechanical repair or related field
