- Experience with fleet cost analysis, replacement schedules, and performance benchmarking

- Experience with ERP systems (PeopleSoft, Lawson, JD Edwards, Oracle, SAP)
- Familiarity with Fleet Management Information Systems and fleet database management
- Strong analytical and data management abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration
- Budgeting and government accounting familiarity
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the fleet database including vehicle and equipment inventory, usage, repair costs, and expense trends.
- Prepare reports and analyses for management review on fleet costs, usage, and replacement schedules.
- Conduct budgeting and total cost of ownership analyses to inform repair vs. replacement decisions.
- Serve as primary liaison with Property Management Fleet and Fleet purchasing teams.
- Review repair diagnoses and evaluate suitability and necessity of repairs based on age, application, cost, and replacement options.
- Administer processes and documentation related to fuel access, vehicle modifications, asset retirements, trade type changes, and fleet additions.
- Utilize PeopleSoft Financials or similar ERP systems for cost tracking and reporting.
- Participate as a key member of the department’s Accident Review Board and ensure accurate reporting and policy compliance.
- Monitor fleet industry best practices related to safety, maintenance, new vehicle technologies, and market trends.
- Collaborate across teams and communicate findings to support departmental goals and decision-making.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (required)
- Alternate consideration possible with equivalent relevant work experience in lieu of degree
