Responsibilities
- Respond to traffic safety-related citizen service requests and communicate with residents
- Conduct site investigations and field visits for traffic safety concerns
- Set up and operate equipment to measure traffic volume, speed, and site visibility
- Perform traffic data collection and basic traffic analysis
- Prepare work order layouts and installation drawings in CAD for signs and pavement markings
- Assist engineering staff with neighborhood traffic calming program tasks
- Generate and document findings, maintain records, and support implementation
Education
- Associate's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Candidates with greater relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the education requirement
