Responsibilities
- Monitor and evaluate quality, responsiveness, efficiency, and effectiveness of departmental programs and methods.
- Oversee construction bid processes, contract awards, and site management for multiple projects.
- Review construction plans, documents, and specifications for compliance with departmental goals.
- Develop and administer the Capital Projects program budget, forecasting and monitoring expenditures.
- Provide technical and administrative assistance to city developers and departments.
- Coordinate construction activities with other divisions, departments, and outside agencies.
- Implement accessibility improvements at facilities in compliance with federal laws.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, architecture, planning, public administration, construction administration, or related field
