Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming service requests via phone, email, and ticketing system
- Provide basic troubleshooting and resolution for hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams following established procedures
- Set up, configure, and deploy workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and standard applications
- Assist with user account creation, password resets, and access management per security protocols
- Travel to multiple fire stations and city locations for on-site support, equipment setup, troubleshooting, and training
- Maintain and update an accurate inventory of IT hardware and software assets
- Track device lifecycle from procurement through decommissioning and report counts to IT management
- Monitor and manage company-issued SIM cards and cellular data plans, including activation/suspension/termination and cost tracking
- Coordinate with users to determine device and software needs and assist in scheduling hardware replacements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field (minimum)
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- Valid driver’s license required
