Skills
- 6+ years of frontend engineering experience with a focus on design systems or UI component libraries.
- Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript and TypeScript and component-driven frameworks (React preferred).
- Deep practical knowledge of HTML/CSS, responsive layouts, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience implementing accessible UI patterns and meeting WCAG contrast/interaction guidelines.
- Comfortable with performance profiling, frontend build tooling, and dev DX improvements.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a scalable, reusable component library consumed across the product.
- Collaborate tightly with product designers and product managers to translate high-fidelity designs into production-ready code.
- Iterate on and evolve the design system, component APIs, and frontend architecture.
- Champion accessibility, performance, responsive design, and developer experience best practices.
- Implement animations and interactions that enhance usability and polish.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and onboarding to ensure consistency across the UI.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
