· Lead and mentor a talented engineering team, conducting regular check-ins, performance reviews, and career development conversations.
· Define and communicate the engineering vision, roadmap, and KPIs aligned with business goals.
· Collaborate with Product, UX, and stakeholders to shape features, refine MVPs, prioritize work, and ensure timely delivery.
· Drive engineering best practices including code reviews, continuous integration/deployment, automated testing, monitoring, and alerting.
· Oversee platform architecture to ensure scalability, reliability, maintainability, and alignment with strategic goals.
· Act as a bridge between technical execution and business strategy, translating complex technical ideas into clear, actionable guidance.
· Hire top-tier engineers and build a cohesive team culture that encourages innovation, autonomy, and high performance.
· 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2–3 years in a leadership role (Tech Lead or Engineering Manager).
· Hands-on experience with full-stack product development (frontend, backend, and data).
· Proven track record in architecting services, APIs, and scalable platforms.
· Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
· Strong communication skills to translate technical constraints into business contexts and mentor team members effectively.
