Accounting Manager – Construction Experience Needed
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Compensation: $100,000 – $130,000 plus performance-based bonuses

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure project and company success
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and efficient processing
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports with actionable insights
- Conduct financial analysis to support project managers and optimize performance and profitability
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies, including California mechanics lien laws and waiver tracking
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to resolve financial challenges and strengthen partnerships
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Mentor and lead an accounting team, building a collaborative, high-performing environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in construction accounting
- Strong knowledge of job costing and percentage-of-completion methods
- Advanced proficiency with CMiC software, QuickBooks Online, and Microsoft Excel
- In-depth understanding of California mechanics lien laws, requirements, and waiver tracking
- Experience with prevailing wage reporting and public works contracting
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively across teams and stakeholders
- Integrity and meticulous attention to detail in all financial matters
