About the Role

We are seeking 8-12 experienced facilitators to deliver 90-minute AI training sessions to small businesses across 25 markets nationwide. This is a pilot program launching in Q1 2026 with the goal of scaling AI adoption among small businesses throughout the United States.

SweetRush has created the Instructor-Led Training (ILT) for a business association advocacy client, and we are hiring a group of facilitators to train members all across the country. Facilitators will be deployed to the geographic hub where they reside or are in proximity. They will work with the local members, who will serve as implementation partners and handle logistics, marketing, and participant recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

Training Delivery

  • Conduct 2-4 AI training sessions per year in assigned locations (larger markets may require 3-4 sessions; smaller markets 2-3 sessions)
  • Adapt presentation style to diverse business owners with varying levels of technical expertise
  • Facilitate hands-on learning experiences using participant-provided laptops and digital training materials 
  • Facilitators will be assigned to specific geographic hubs covering multiple cities from 25 selected pilot locations across the United States. Regular travel within your assigned region is expected and will be reimbursed.

Train-the-Trainer Component

  • Mentor and develop local staff to deliver AI training independently in future years
  • Document best practices and lessons learned for program sustainability
  • Build capacity to continue the program beyond the pilot year

Assessment & Feedback

  • Implement feedback collection during and after training sessions
  • Gather insights on how participants plan to utilize AI in their businesses
  • Identify areas where businesses intend to implement AI solutions
  • Submit session reports and recommendations to program leadership

Collaboration

  • Coordinate with local staff on logistics for each training session
  • Ensure they have the necessary materials (participant guides, etc.)
  • Partner with state and regional leadership on scheduling and planning

Qualifications

Required

  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years preferred) as a corporate facilitator, trainer, or workshop leader in both virtual and in-person settings.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. You must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and speak effectively before large and small groups.
  • Demonstrated active listening skills to draw out insights and encourage participation.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build rapport and connect with diverse audiences.
  • Strong questioning and active listening skills to draw out insights and encourage participation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage group dynamics, handle challenging discussions, and keep sessions on track and within timeframes.
  • Experience in designing and developing engaging learning activities and content is a plus.
  • Ability to synthesize and summarize key points from discussions.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively as part of a remote team.
  • Must demonstrate AI knowledge exceeding that of typical small business audiences
  • Experience with Google AI tools and platforms
  • Train-the-trainer or coaching experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Adult Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Communications) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to travel for in-person facilitation as required by client projects.

Experience Facilitating the Following Subjects is Preferred:

  • Competency/Soft Skill Development: Formal skill development to support soft skills (i.e., communication, collaboration, emotional intelligence).
  • Leadership Competencies: Development in areas such as coaching, delegation, strategic thinking, and team leadership.
  • Technical Skills: Facilitation of subjects like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Project Management, Design Thinking, and other specialized technical areas.

Program Timeline

  • Program Launch: Q1 2026 (most likely will start in February 2026)
  • Pilot Duration: Year 1 (2026)
  • Session Frequency: 2-4 training sessions per location annually, distributed throughout the year

Support Structure

  • Local staff provide logistical support, venue, marketing, advertising, and participant recruitment
  • Digital training materials accessible via QR code for participants
