Product Manager II - Credit Building

About Super.com

We started Super.com to help maximize lives–both the lives of our customers and the lives of our team – so that everyone can experience all that life has to offer. For our employees, our promise is that Super.com is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to unlock one’s potential, where learning is celebrated and impact is realized.

We are more than a fast-paced, high-growth tech company; we care about our people and take career progression seriously. This is your career and our aim is to supercharge it through the people, the work, and the programs that fuel who we are.

About the role

This is a critical role of ‘Co-pilot’ Product Manager 2 for our “Credit Building” Mission Aligned Team (MAT) to help everyday Americans build their credit score so they can get more out of life.

You will be responsible for building credit building tools, capabilities and experiences for everyday Americans which translates into a sustainable and scalable business. You will be primarily responsible for execution across acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, LTV:CAC, and other key metrics, for our existing credit building products and any new products that help members build credit.

As you lead execution of this space, you will work directly with the MAT Lead (Senior PM), who is accountable for the outcomes of this team and will report directly to the Sr. Group PM for Financial Products who will be your coach throughout this journey. You will regularly interface with and present to executives (GM, CTO, SVP Product, etc.) on a routine basis. You will collaborate with design, engineering, data, growth, legal, compliance and many other cross-functional partners to write PRDs, organize and execute sprints, perform analysis, deliver outcomes and support product strategy. We are looking for someone who is excellent at leading execution for 0-1 products, drives teams to execute in ambiguous circumstances, and is able to dig deep into the data, extract key insights, and make critical decisions based on analysis. We want someone with a strong bias for action, takes ownership, and brings solutions to problems we didn’t know existed.

About the team

The Credit Building team’s mission is to help members improve their credit in a way that is transparent, accessible, and genuinely effective. The team owns the end-to-end credit building experience, including the Super.com secured credit card, reporting (rent, payments, credit utilization) and monitoring, onboarding, and engagement, with a focus on long-term customer outcomes and sustainable business growth.

The team operates with high ownership and strong execution, partnering closely with design, engineering, risk, legal, compliance and partner bank to ship responsibly and move fast. Product managers are expected to think holistically across user experience, data, and business impact, iterate quickly based on real behavior, and make clear tradeoffs. This team plays a critical role in Super.com’s strategy and builds products that have real, measurable impact on people’s financial lives.

What you’ll be working on:

  • Drive outcomes through execution - Deliver, end to end, on the OKRs working with your MAT lead and teammates. Update the appropriate stakeholders as to challenges, wins, and blockers. Do whatever it takes for your team to win

  • Execute on the Roadmap - Be responsible for end to end execution of your cross-functional MAT team, and the outcomes of the team. Collaborate and lead in sprint and agile ceremonies deep in the weeds to get teams unblocked and work with the MAT lead to plan out where the team is headed at the top level. Own the roadmap from end to end in terms of output and impact.

  • Write, Launch, and Study PRDs & Experiments - Create detailed documentation for products and experiments, A/B test, smoke test, and launch in a myriad of other ways, and study the impact of these products and make decisions on outcomes. Define and study the best KPIs that define winning.

  • Manage Stakeholders - Influence key leaders (Sr. GPM, Directors, Managers, MAT leads etc) and adjacent MAT lead teammates. Keep your vertical and product colleagues in step with you, be in step with them, and operate as an effective execution leader.

  • Analyze, Research, and Assess - Dig deep into Amplitude, interviews, UXR research, Hotjar, and many other tools to understand the customer, their needs and jobs to be done, the performance of the product and business, and more, so that you make strong, data-driven decisions. Present insights to key leaders on a routine basis.

  • Own the Experience - Take accountability for the customer experience from end to end in your domain, ensuring the customers needs are met with high quality products. Know when to compromise and put your foot down, and truly solve your customer’s problems.

  • Build Customer Empathy - Research, listen to, and understand our customers and their needs along with the unique financial situations and jobs to be done they face. Actively use and engage with the product to QA what we’re building and build empathy for the people who use our products on a daily basis.

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years in B2C product management, with prior experience in finding PMMC fits, Credit Building products, Growth, Retention focused product development

  • Background in financial products, with consumer fintechs, or similar

  • 3+ years collaborating with design, engineering, and data teams

  • 1+ years experience working with Growth (Ads, Landing page optimization, activation)

  • Can show successful products in the market that you’ve shipped 0 to 1 and that you’ve worked on from 1 to 10

  • Strong project management & excellent communication skills with immediate teams, engineers, designers, executives (written, oral, and presentational)

  • Strong leadership of teams and stakeholders with an ability to drive large meetings effectively and execute with authority

  • Data driven analytical thinking, and back statements up with facts and examples.

  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity with a strong bias for action.

  • Humble, flexible, and willing to jump into weeds and able to jump back up to the right altitude. Gets your hands dirty in execution mode routinely and then shifts to think about what is ahead in 3 months.

Bonus points for:

  • Background in data analytics or engineering

  • Mastery of product management principles (e.g. Reforge, PMMC fit, etc)

  • Experience working directly with Amplitude, Figma, Jira, Notion, Looker, and Google Suite

  • Deep understanding of subscription and membership models and space

  • Experience with UXR and customer, competitive, and market research
