Hospitality Attendant - Housing (Part-Time)

Perform a combination of duties in a pleasant, professional, and efficient manner, primarily related—but not limited—to answering telephones, greeting, assisting, and checking families in and out of Target House, Parcels, or Memphis International Airport; providing recommendations and directions; and contributing to an overall positive experience.

Smile and greet guests in a welcoming manner as the first point of contact. Assist Security in controlling access by signing in visitors, volunteers, and vendors to Target House, Parcels, or Memphis International Airport.

Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays, 5:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Job Description

  • Maintain overall quality and cleanliness of the assigned area.

  • Provide assistance and support within the assigned area (e.g., House Management, Volunteer Department, Front Desk Department, Guest Services requests).

  • Monitor supplies and inventory within the assigned area and take appropriate action as needed.

  • Document and share reports for the assigned area as required.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned or directed to meet departmental goals and objectives.

  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Minimum Education and/or Training

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum Experience

  • One year of applicable experience in a service-oriented, customer-focused environment preferred.

  • Completes standard tasks within the assigned area (e.g., House Management, Volunteer or Event Department, Front Desk Department, Guest Services requests, Patient Services requests) on time and under supervision.

Compensation

In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $19.00 - $30.00 per hour for the role of Hospitality Attendant - Housing (Part-Time).
