Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product teams to scope projects, prioritize minimal viable scope, and navigate integration/UX tradeoffs
- Design and maintain clear, reliable APIs and lightweight backend services
- Develop and maintain cross-platform SDK components (Kotlin Multiplatform)
- Ship cloud functions, backend jobs, and services using Kotlin
- Optimize performance for faster loading and smarter parsing through efficient abstractions and algorithm improvements
- Drive system-level design decisions with an emphasis on simplicity and end-to-end reliability
- Mentor and collaborate with engineers, designers, and PMs to deliver high-quality releases
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Relevant professional experience building production-grade services and SDKs
