Responsibilities
- Supervise hourly workforce: performance reviews, feedback, conflict resolution, corrective actions and disciplinary processes
- Drive operational performance and continuous improvement projects to increase inventory accuracy and response times
- Ensure safety and regulatory compliance, targeting zero OSHA recordables and adherence to AS9100/customer flow-downs
- Manage receiving, storage, issuing and inventory control of parts, details and hardware
- Oversee cycle counting, shelf-life controls, FIFO practices and environmental storage controls
- Identify and implement cost-saving and optimization opportunities
- Control and maintain fleet vehicles and related preventative maintenance
- Approve and monitor employee timekeeping and staffing levels; recruit and grow the workforce
- Operate and maintain material handling equipment and ensure proper training (including forklift and ladder use)
Education
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, science or related field preferred
- Or equivalent combination of education and professional materials management experience (6+ years)
- Relevant certifications (APICS CPIM/CSCP, Lean/Six Sigma) preferred
