- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations
- Project estimating, cost control, scheduling, and contractor management experience
- Contract writing and subcontract administration
- Familiarity with permitting and interaction with regulatory agencies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management/scheduling software
- Proficiency with PDF editors (Bluebeam/Adobe) and basic AutoCAD skills
- Basic proficiency with GPS and Total Station survey equipment
- Ability to operate basic earthmoving equipment and work in field conditions
- Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to manage multiple priorities
- ITAR eligibility (U.S. citizen/green card holder/asylee/refugee) required
Responsibilities
- Manage full lifecycle of multidiscipline construction projects from scope, estimating, and contracts through close-out
- Prepare ROM estimates, gather and evaluate proposals, and develop final cost and schedule
- Write and manage subcontractor contracts and monitor contractor performance and invoicing
- Implement cost, schedule, and scope controls and track project metrics
- Facilitate city, county, and regulatory permitting and approvals
- Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field and coordinate with engineers and stakeholders
- Manage site safety, environmental requirements, and contractor compliance
- Coordinate with facilities and end users for commissioning, operations, and maintenance
- Manage night/early-morning shifts and provide on-call emergency support as required
- Maintain project documentation, tools, and folder systems
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management required
- Relevant professional certifications or continued education in construction management preferred
