Skills
- Professional circuit and electronic product design experience
- Mixed-signal PCB design and layout
- Hardware bring-up, debugging, and test methodologies
- Familiarity with high-speed interfaces (Ethernet, SerDes, DDR)
- Experience with processors, FPGAs, and peripheral interfaces (I2C, SPI)
- Power supply design and analog/digital conversion understanding
- Proficiency in programming for tooling and test (Python, C/C++)
- Cross-functional collaboration and systems-level thinking
- Ability to support extended hours for mission-critical deadlines
- ITAR eligibility as required
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test highly reliable mixed-signal electronics for satellite communication products
- Capture requirements, perform system trades, select components, create schematics and PCB layouts
- Prototype, bring up, debug, and verify hardware through lab, environmental, and production testing
- Collaborate with software, mechanical, thermal, silicon, manufacturing, and test teams to deliver integrated products
- Drive continuous improvement using data from lab and on-orbit performance
- Support hardware during production ramp, satellite integration, and field operations
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (required)
- Master's degree in EE, CE, or related field (preferred)
