- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, software, industrial, or similar)
- Manufacturing or industrial project experience (1+ years; internships/collegiate projects qualify)
- Experience with factory design, capacity planning, and product flow
- Project management and capital project coordination
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit and MEP infrastructure
- Knowledge of databases and SQL for data analysis
- Understanding of lean engineering and Six Sigma concepts
- Experience with production automation, tooling, and high-volume manufacturing
- Strong written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to analyze large datasets and present findings
Responsibilities
- Design physical and digital factory layouts, part flow, and facility requirements to meet multi-million unit/year targets
- Own floor layouts, capacity studies, and product flow analysis to ensure timely delivery
- Coordinate construction and scheduling with internal teams and external contractors
- Create and maintain project schedules and budgets for capital projects, monitor progress and address deviations
- Define and implement business processes for manufacturing execution, inventory, nonconformance resolution, and configuration management
- Serve as subject matter expert for Starlink production processes; lead data gathering, troubleshooting, and problem solving
- Implement data acquisition and tracking for production, quality, environmental, testing, and safety metrics
- Work with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Customer Experience to optimize output, quality, and manufacturability
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, software, industrial, or related engineering discipline
