Skills
- Proficiency in C, C++, Python, or Golang
- Strong Linux programming and embedded systems experience
- Experience with ARM, RISC-V, or similar processors and microcontrollers
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP) and telemetry data systems
- Test design across unit, integration, and hardware-in-the-loop environments
- Familiarity with secure distributed systems and deployment tooling
Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant consumer devices and embedded software for long-term field operation
- Own software architecture, development, testing, and release for customer hardware
- Develop prototypes to validate designs and quantify technical constraints
- Write Linux-based software for common processors and microcontrollers (ARM, RISC-V, etc.)
- Build and maintain systems for test execution across virtualized and hardware-in-the-loop environments
- Create tools and infrastructure for frequent, reliable code deployment and CI/CD
- Develop scalable telemetry and data analysis systems and improve system security and robustness
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a STEM discipline and 1+ years professional software engineering experience
- OR 3+ years professional software engineering experience in lieu of a degree
