The Role
Our iOS application allows over 300,000 monthly active patients to manage their care. The application is consistently in the top 10 medical apps in the app store has has maintained a 4.7★ App Store rating with thousands of reviews. We are looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join Ro’s Patient Experience team and help shape the future of our mobile healthcare platform.
In this role, you’ll design, build, and maintain high-quality iOS applications that connect patients with seamless, personalized care. You’ll lead efforts to evolve the Ro mobile experience—enabling patients to manage their health goals, communicate with providers, and access treatment through intuitive, performant, and secure native interfaces.
As a senior member of a small, highly impactful iOS team, you’ll have meaningful influence over the architecture, technical direction, and quality bar of our mobile app. You’ll partner closely with product, design, and data to deliver delightful user experiences at scale and own initiatives end to end—from technical discovery and implementation through iteration and improvement in production—and help define best practices for mobile engineering across the company. You’ll also bring your perspective to improving team workflows, tooling, and development practices, contributing to a strong culture of ownership, iteration, and continuous improvement.

The target base salary for this position ranges from $182,300 to $220,000, in addition to a competitive equity and benefits package (as applicable). When determining compensation, we analyze and carefully consider several factors, including location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. These considerations may cause your compensation to vary.
Ro recognizes the power of in-person collaboration, while supporting the flexibility to work anywhere in the United States. For our Ro’ers in the tri-state (NY) area, you will join us at HQ on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For those outside of the tri-state area, you will be able to join in-person collaborations throughout the year (i.e., during team on-sites).
