Responsibilities
- Own hardware design and production lifecycle from concept to launch for the Starlink constellation.
- Develop and collaborate on design criteria and system-level optimization.
- Iterate rapidly on designs, analyses, and system trade-offs to refine product direction.
- Drive design for manufacturing (DFM) focusing on reducing parts, error-proofing, and process improvements.
- Establish efficient product lifecycle balancing cost, complexity, and quality across supply chain to integration.
- Perform environmental and performance testing to validate design compliance.
- Manage product delivery timelines through all development stages.
- Demonstrate ownership of product outcomes throughout development and production.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or related field required.
- Master’s degree preferred for senior roles.
