Skills
- Experience with building infrastructure systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression, BMS).
- Scheduling and production planning skills; familiarity with master scheduling concepts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for queries, metrics and reporting.
- Experience using Jira or factory scheduler applications.
- Ability to coordinate across engineering, suppliers, trade partners and leadership.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and basic SQL querying (preferred).
- Knowledge of lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen principles (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Own intake, control, communication, and scheduling for facilities engineering and repair teams.
- Manage daily scheduling, forecasting, and long-range master schedules with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Use Jira and other tools to prioritize work, allocate resources, and improve lead times.
- Coordinate with engineering, trade partners, suppliers, and operations to mitigate schedule risks.
- Create and maintain metrics, reports, and KPIs on schedule performance, safety, quality, and costs.
- Drive root-cause analysis and permanent resolutions for recurring build or repair issues.
- Oversee fixture, tooling, and equipment scheduling to support efficient production.
- Forecast demand for parts, identify substitutes for long-lead items, and optimize inventory strategies.
- Manage relationships with external contractors and ensure compliance with corporate standards.
- Provide technical support and training so team members are subject-matter experts.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, operations, or related field OR
- Minimum 4+ years experience in supply chain, production, engineering, or project management.
