- Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, aerospace, systems, manufacturing)
- Experience in manufacturing, integration, reliability, technical program management, or operations
- Hands-on familiarity with equipment control systems and industrial automation
- Ability to read equipment schematics and OEM manuals
- Experience with statistical/probabilistic analysis for reliability
- Familiarity with CMMS tools (e.g., Maximo, SAP, Infor) preferred
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
- Ability to perform physical tasks (lift up to 25 lbs) and work extended hours/weekends as needed
- ITAR eligibility (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) required
Responsibilities
- Ensure reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations with project engineering
- Develop and own equipment improvement and preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime
- Define, design, and refine asset maintenance plans including predictive and non-destructive testing methods
- Prepare and review asset documentation packages covering mechanical design, controls, and software
- Analyze repetitive failures and implement engineering solutions to improve capacity, quality, and cost
- Perform asset analyses (utilization, OEE, remaining useful life, operational restrictions)
- Provide technical support to production, maintenance management, and technicians
- Manage production requests for asset improvements, control functions, and data collection
- Apply value analysis for repair/replace and make/buy decisions
Education
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace, systems, or manufacturing engineering
