Sr. RFIC Design Engineer
Skills
- Professional RFIC design experience (analog/mixed-signal/RF)
- Simulation and modeling using tools like Spectre, ADS, HFSS or Momentum
- Design and analysis of PLLs, mixers, oscillators, modulators, LNAs and PAs
- Familiarity with microwave frequencies S-band through W-band and MMIC design
- Hands-on test and characterization using spectrum analyzers, VNAs and vector signal analyzers
Responsibilities
- Design, simulate and model RF/analog/mixed-signal circuits and subsystems
- Derive specifications and partition functions with system, modem/DSP and ASIC teams
- Develop circuits in SiGe, GaAs, GaN, and CMOS processes and perform IC floorplanning/layout
- Prototype, characterize and validate ICs including packaging and parasitic modeling
- Support test lab automation, production testing, qualification and manufacturing handoff
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (required)
