Enterprise Solutions Engineer - Strategic Accounts (West)

Smartsheet is a leading work management SaaS company focused on enabling teams to automate processes, uncover insights, and scale work across the enterprise. The company seeks an experienced Enterprise Solutions Engineer to provide technical leadership across Strategic Accounts, owning the technical sales cycle, designing creative Smartsheet-based solutions, and driving adoption at Global 2000 customers.

Skills

  • 5+ years as a Sales Engineer in SaaS or enterprise software
  • Proven consultative solution-selling and enterprise sales process experience
  • Strong ability to design Excel- or Smartsheet-based collaboration/workflow solutions
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Familiarity with integrations, APIs, and enterprise IT considerations
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver technical demos and manage POCs
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for customer engagements

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical sales process in partnership with enterprise sales executives for large accounts
  • Design and build creative Smartsheet solutions addressing customer requirements and workflows
  • Deliver demos, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept support during evaluations
  • Advise prospects and enterprise users as a Smartsheet subject matter expert
  • Engage with customer IT on integrations, data, and deployment questions
  • Capture and communicate best practices, FAQs, and technical guidance internally
  • Provide product feedback to Product Management and collaborate with Marketing on repeatable solutions
  • Track and resolve front-line prospect technical issues and ensure follow-up
  • Meet and exceed performance targets and support go-to-market initiatives

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
