Skills
- Proven supervisory and personnel management skills in warehouse/logistics environments
- Inventory control and order/shipment oversight
- Experience with PO systems, enterprise sourcing, or multi-location inventory oversight
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Exchange), web navigation, and basic hardware
- Strong oral and written communication and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations for assigned area, ensuring productivity targets are met
- Hire, onboard, coach, and manage performance of assigned staff, including disciplinary actions up to termination
- Train employees, monitor performance and service levels, and develop bench strength through cross-training
- Manage administrative tasks: timecards, productivity entry, responses to inquiries, and regular reporting
- Oversee customer inventories, monitor orders and shipments, and investigate/resolving customer concerns
- Promote and enforce SOPs, maintain warehouse organization and attention to detail
- Provide recommendations for improvements to workflow, space, equipment, and personnel allocation
- Produce daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports and statistics
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related professional experience
- Relevant supply chain/logistics coursework or certifications beneficial
