- Ability to analyze operations metrics and drive continuous improvement
- Familiarity with import/export documentation and customs coordination
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate warehouse teams to meet productivity, quality, and safety targets
- Train, onboard, coach, and hold staff accountable for performance
- Oversee hiring, supervision, evaluations, and disciplinary actions
- Enforce SOPs and ensure process adherence for accuracy and customer satisfaction
- Manage customer inventories, order fulfillment, and shipping activities
- Analyze operational metrics, identify improvements, and implement changes
- Optimize warehouse layout, product flow, and equipment usage
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer and operational issues
- Manage administrative tasks including timecards, supplies, and reporting
- Plan and execute customer site visits and maintain communication
- Ensure bonded warehouse activities comply with U.S. Customs and Border Protection requirements
- Maintain segregation and proper documentation/handling of bonded vs non-bonded inventory
- Coordinate with customs brokers and support audits
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
