Training and Talent Development Program Manager

Job Description

The Training and Talent Development Program Manager will oversee the SIXT Management Trainee program, guiding team members through their career development in field operations. They will develop, coach, coordinate, and manage participants while collaborating with another Program Manager and the Director of Training and Talent Development. This role requires independent and team-based work, sound decision-making, and strong prioritization skills to achieve program goals for SIXT North America.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT 

  • You manage program participants and track their progress throughout the Management Trainee program
  • You oversee all program components including mentorship, branch rotations, training, assessments, and evaluations
  • You monitor participant performance, provide coaching and feedback, and next-step recommendations
  • You coordinate with branch leaders and HQ departments to align rotations and program deliverables
  • You facilitate and coordinate virtual and in-person training sessions while supporting program development and updates
  • You evaluate program and participant effectiveness through assessments, surveys, feedback, and reporting on progress, challenges, and solutions

YOUR SKILLS MATTER 

  • Experience You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in program management, training, or talent development
  • Education You have a bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration, organizational development/leadership, education, or industrial organizational psychology. You have a certification in APTD, CPTD, CPTM preferred
  • Technical Proficiency You are proficient in learning management systems (LMS)
  • Soft Skills You have strong public speaking, written, and verbal communication skills with excellent organization, attention to detail, and multilingual in English, Spanish, or German (preferred)
  • Commitment To Excellence You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience collaborating on team-based projects
  • Eligibility You are authorized to work in the United States and do not require work authorization sponsorship by SIXT, now, or in the future
