Operations Support Manager

ShipBob is a fast-growing global fulfillment technology platform serving SMB and mid-market ecommerce merchants. We are seeking an Operations Support Manager to develop, onboard, and support partner fulfillment centers across the West region, ensuring sites meet ShipBob standards through project management, systems configuration, training, equipment setup, and ongoing operational audits.

Skills

  • Operations leadership in e-commerce fulfillment and 3PL relationship management
  • Strong knowledge of inbound and outbound fulfillment processes
  • Project management and site launch experience
  • WMS configuration and dashboard implementation
  • Training design and delivery for operational teams and partners
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to read and review CAD building layouts (preferred)
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot operational and technical issues on-site
  • Comfortable with frequent travel and weekend availability

Responsibilities

  • Spend ~90% of time onsite at partner locations or ShipBob Innovation Centers to lead implementations and audits
  • Manage site selection support and vetting for potential SFN partner locations
  • Own the 60–90-day launch implementation phase and act as primary point of contact pre- and post-launch
  • Configure dashboards, WMS settings, and performance measures to meet partner objectives
  • Oversee site layout, equipment setup, and hands-on training of partner staff
  • Coach partners to adopt ShipBob SOPs, tools, and WMS functionality; reinforce Phase I/II training materials
  • Troubleshoot onboarding issues, resolve Jira tickets, and coordinate with Control Tower to prevent SLA breaches
  • Monitor KPIs/SLAs and partner with local site leaders to implement corrective action plans
  • Perform operational audits, travel to sites, and support additional implementations as required
  • Ensure inbound/outbound activity, returns, VAS, and scanning processes comply with SOPs and SLAs
  • Support tech-related issues (cluster cart restocks, IPS tickets) and Cubiscan assistance
  • Prepare and distribute detailed daily EOD passdowns and maintain clear communication with stakeholders
  • Comply with all food safety and regulatory requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, or related field
  • Relevant certifications or training in operations, project management, or logistics are a plus
