Job Description
The Lab Technician I handles samples, performs analyses and reports accurate and timely data according to Laboratory Operating Procedures and test methodologies.
JOB FUNCTIONS
- Homogenizes samples following standard protocols.
- Assists with cleaning laboratory carts, glassware, racks.
- Maintains cleanliness of laboratory work surfaces.
- Maintains records of all quality activities as required in Operating Procedures and Test Methods.
- Performs applicable testing with proper proficiency training with Supervision.
- Maintains and verifies equipment
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- HS Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Interest in Microbiology/Chemistry or related field or commercial laboratory experience. Preferred
WORK SCHEDULE
Part-Time Position Requirements:
- Availability for 2–3 days per week, with mandatory shifts every Saturday.
- Flexible scheduling options:
- Full-day shifts from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, or
- Evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
