ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently looking for an experienced finance or accounting professional to join the FP&A team to support International Consumer Brands’ (ICB) Latin America (LATAM) and Africa/Middle East/Turkey (AMET) regions.
As Associate Manager, you will provide business decision support to the LATAM and AMET regions. In addition, you will lead projects and provide financial analysis for the CFO of International Consumer Brands (ICB).
Successful candidates will bring a broad business perspective and ability to liaise with LATAM and AMET Cluster Finance Directors and other ICB cross-functional partners to lead and drive finance initiatives, perform financial analysis, and actively participate in the ICB planning process. Additionally, you should have interest and curiosity in technical skill development and dashboards in Power BI.
This position will report to the Sr. Director, FP&A for ICB.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work directly with regional leadership to develop plans that deliver key financial and business targets and drive region-wide strategic initiatives
Partner with LATAM/AMET Cluster teams to manage financial close, budgets and forecasts
Anticipate risks/opportunities and develop contingency plans in support of objectives and strategy
Perform complex finance activities, including monthly and ad hoc financial statement analysis and commentary, pricing analytics, and scenario modeling
Develop analytics to ensure Regional KPIs are on track to meet strategic objectives
Lead and assist on various activities including Corplan (annual budget), forecasting and Strategic Planning, as well as the development of financial models and analysis to support ICB CFO-led initiatives
Drive Global Delivered Profit Margin initiatives to improve DPM for reinvestment in growth
Lead and assist on key finance digitization initiatives, with goal to improve ICB Finance analytical capacity and capability
Support S4 Hana design and implementation
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU WILL BRING
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or other relevant business degree and 5+ years of directly related experience; OR advanced degree with 3+ years of directly related experience
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
M.B.A.
Related experience from Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
Experience in supply chain finance, sales finance, exposure to marketing/strategic business issues, significant analytical projects, and fundamental accounting
Demonstrated analytical skillset (i.e., complex financial analysis, discounted cash flow/project valuation) and financial statement management (P&L analysis and modeling)
Proven ability to work cross-functionally and make meaningful contributions to a team. Ability to influence, lead projects and effectively collaborate to achieve objectives and produce results
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects at the same time and work independently
Keen strategic, thought leadership skillset
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of the organization
Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, BPC and SAP
Experience with Power BI
