Job Summary:
Statewide Remodeling Inc. seeks a dynamic, self-starting individual that demonstrates initiative and commitment as a Production Manager. The Production Manager will provide support and assist with the alignment of the department’s processes and solutions to effectively and efficiently meet Statewide business needs. The Production Manager is responsible for assisting and supporting the department to optimize employee engagement and organization.
Essential Functions:
· Lead team to achieve all key performance indicators (KPIs).
· Provide oversight and training to Pre-Site, Procurement and Warehouse personnel.
· Address pre-production activities and mechanical issues.
· Develop, communicate, and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
· Conduct weekly meetings with staff to review pre-production issues.
· Provide direction and guidance to direct reports including performance management, hiring, employee relations, and disciplinary actions.
· Conduct regular reviews of SOPs and policies to increase productivity and reduces losses and errors
· Provide for cross-training opportunities for direct reports to improve continuity of business
· Proactively assist with any aspect of departmental needs
· Provide excellent customer service
· Develop relationships with various vendors and local dealers
· Maintain and keep in good working condition of company fleet of vehicles and forklifts
· Performs other work-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· 3-5 years prior experience in management and/or supervisory role, with some or all of that time in the home improvement industry
· Self-motivated and driven for results with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and continually striving for improvement and excellence
· Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
· Familiarity in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
· Knowledge of safety procedures, OSHA rules and regulations desired
· Secure and maintain Project Management certification and on-going continuing education hours
· Required high school diploma
· Preferred PM certification
· Preferred bachelor’s degree
· Prior experience or education/training in remodeling and/or construction
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift 50 + pounds on occasion
· Ability to work in a variety of environments including extreme heat and cold conditions
· Ability to be move actively for extended period of time on a weekly basis
