Software Engineer II
Skills
- 2+ years professional software development experience using web technologies
- Hands-on experience with React or a comparable single-page application framework
- Experience with Node.js for backend or API development
- Familiarity with static type systems (TypeScript preferred; Java, C#, etc.)
- Experience working with relational databases and designing SQL-based schemas
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborative environments
Responsibilities
- Collaborate within an agile, cross-functional team to deliver high-quality software.
- Communicate effectively in a distributed, remote work environment.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable web frontends and backend services handling high traffic.
- Develop APIs and backend systems (Node.js) and build single-page application features (React or comparable).
- Continuously learn, test, iterate, and improve product and development processes.
Education
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Or equivalent combination of education and professional software development experience
