Skills
- Expert C/C++ programming for embedded systems
- Experience with multi-core ARM architectures
- RTOS and Linux/Android embedded development
- Strong understanding of OS concepts (threads, scheduling, memory management)
- Experience with electrical bus communications (UART, CAN, I2C, SPI, Ethernet)
- Debugging, optimization and performance tuning on embedded platforms
- Test automation and unit-level functional testing for firmware
Responsibilities
- Define and drive technical vision and architecture for high-performance firmware on multi-core embedded platforms.
- Own feature development from design and implementation through validation and release.
- Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and rigorous code review processes.
- Debug, optimize, and validate firmware on complex multi-core embedded architectures.
- Develop automated and unit-level functional tests to validate features and prevent regressions.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design, develop and integrate features up the stack.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Relevant continuing education, certifications, or equivalent professional experience
