- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology
- ASHA membership with CCC-SLP or working toward certification with supervised experience
- State licensure to practice as a Speech Therapist (California, if applicable)
- Clinical evaluation and treatment planning skills for adult and/or pediatric populations
- Experience or comfort delivering in-home care and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams
- Strong clinical documentation and patient record management
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Effective verbal and written communication with patients, families, and staff
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services as prescribed by the attending physician in patients’ homes
- Evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment and care plans, and document progress
- Direct and supervise care as needed and coordinate with interdisciplinary team members
- Deliver evidence-based interventions for communication, cognition, swallowing, and related disorders
- Complete timely clinical documentation, billing paperwork, and required visit notes
- Communicate with physicians, families, and caregivers regarding goals, progress, and discharge planning
- Maintain professional licensure, certifications, and continuing education requirements
- Travel to patient homes across Hermosa Beach and surrounding areas as required
Education
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or working toward certification with supervised experience
- State SLP licensure (required where applicable)
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates accepted with licensed supervision
