Responsibilities
- Design and implement customized occupational therapy plans tailored to each patient’s goals and needs
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and patient records
- Ensure all services comply with agency policies, state regulations, and professional standards
- Educate patients and caregivers on strategies, adaptive equipment, and safety to support ADLs
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of practice
- Registration with the appropriate occupational therapy association (where applicable)
