Skills
- Expert-level structural analysis (NASTRAN or similar)
- Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and drafting with strong GD&T knowledge
- Experience across the full design cycle from requirements to fabricated product
- Hands-on fabrication and assembly knowledge for metallic structures
- Project management experience for procurement, scheduling, and delivery
- Ability to operate in a multidisciplinary, factory test environment
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze static and dynamic structural test stands and fixtures
- Create fabrication drawings, manage procurement, and lead project execution
- Assemble, commission, and operate test stands and support test execution
- Review and approve test stand designs and ensure compliance with requirements
- Identify stakeholders, surface key questions, and resolve complex test constraints
- Mentor and advise members of the test department and cross-functional partners
- Deliver complex projects on schedule and within budget
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 4+ years designing, analyzing, and building metallic structures
- Demonstrated experience with end-to-end product development and testing
