- 3+ years business/corporate collections experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel) and Google Workspace
- Knowledge of billing and collections procedures
- Strong account research and analytical abilities
- Experience coordinating with third-party collection agencies
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to make independent, informed decisions within established guidelines
Responsibilities
- Research, analyze, and implement specialized collection procedures for assigned high-value accounts before initiating collection actions
- Analyze account activity to identify risks and escalate concerns with recommended mitigation strategies
- Coordinate placements and ongoing collaboration with third-party collection agencies to optimize recovery rates
- Review and respond to customer inquiries across multiple queues and resolve account discrepancies
- Communicate professionally with high-value customers and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues
- Conduct extensive research for complex account discrepancies as assigned by management
- Serve as a resource for other collectors on difficult or complex accounts
- Assist in training on new department processes and collaborate on process improvements
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
