had a boss once who’d do “anonymous” surveys about job satisfaction… then call people in to grill them about their answers. same energy.
Corporate loyalty tests are just trust falls without the catching.
This feels like some dystopian novel plot, but sadly believable.

At my first corporate job, leadership worked with another company to set up fake job listings designed specifically to target our own employees
dream job titles, fat salaries, all too good to be true. If anyone applied, HR quietly found out and those employees are given no more high-profile projects, promotions vanished, and some were laid off during reorgs internally they called it "risk management" but it was a loyalty trap. This stuff really happens. I watched it happen. Stay sharp.
