REAL. You just have to qualify for companies that are hiring. So keep up on everything new.
remote UX is like dating in your 30s: not impossible, but slim pickings.
UX is seen as βcollaboration heavyβ so a lot of companies want you in-office or hybrid. devs can hide at home easier lol.
yep. they exist. Iβve interviewed with 3 companies this year (all 100% remote). the catch: competition is brutal.
Iβve been freelancing UX for 2 yrs. TBH itβs way more common than perm roles. Agencies + startups hire remote, but not stable.
most full-time UX remote I see are US-only or EU-only. contractors get more global flexibility.
Iβm doing UX fully remote rn. Itβs rare but possible. Usually mid/senior roles, not so much junior.

I see tons of remote dev jobs on job boards, but UX feels different. are there actually a good number of full-time remote UX roles out there, or is it mostly freelance/contract work? trying to understand the real landscape. anyone working UX remotely right now?
