Job duties will focus primarily on the following categories:
Tax Preparation and Entry:
- Prepare and accurately input tax data into appropriate software systems.
- Review financial records, statements, and relevant documents to ensure accuracy in tax filings.
- Calculate taxes owed, identify deductions, and advise on credits to minimize liabilities.
Client Interaction and Consultation:
- Engage with clients to understand their financial situations and tax requirements.
- Conduct meetings to discuss tax returns, addressing any queries and offering comprehensive explanations.
- Provide personalized tax advice and strategies to optimize clients' financial outcomes.
Compliance and Regulation Adherence:
- Stay updated with tax laws, regulations, and policies to ensure compliance in all filings.

Documentation and Record-Keeping:
- Maintain thorough documentation of all tax-related information and filings for audit purposes.
- Organize and manage client records in a secure and accessible manner.
Investment Management Support for Tax Planning:
- Collaborate with investment managers and financial advisors to gather necessary documents and reports.
- Analyze investment portfolios and transactions to identify tax implications and strategies.
- Assist in the preparation of investment-related documents for tax planning purposes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Provide insights and recommendations regarding investment decisions for tax optimization.

Requirements
Job requirements include:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required; or equivalent experience.
- Certifications: Preferred Enrolled Agent certification and/or CPA qualification.
- Experience: Proven experience in tax preparation, accounting, or related field.
- Knowledge: Proficient in tax law, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
- Software Skills: Familiarity with tax preparation software and MS Office suite.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to explain complex tax concepts in simple terms.
- Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and analytical mindset.
