Skills
- Hands-on experience integrating complex hardware systems (storage, server, networking).
- Proven expertise with NAND-based storage systems and SSDs; strong working knowledge of PCIe and NVMe protocols.
- Proficiency in PCB schematic/layout review for high-layer-count boards and SMT processes.
- Experience with DFM/DFT methodologies and test strategy development.
- Practical use of PLM/ERP systems to manage BOMs and change control.
- Analytical skills to drive improvements in yield, efficiency and product quality.
Responsibilities
- Provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) feedback early in the product lifecycle to enable manufacturable and testable designs.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks at PCB, component, and system level (NAND, PCIe, NVMe) to meet reliability, quality, and cost targets.
- Streamline prototype bring-up and refine assembly/test processes to improve yield and efficiency.
- Standardize manufacturing documentation and processes across global supplier sites.
- Own system Bill of Materials (BOM) in the PLM, maintain configuration accuracy and execute disciplined change control for end-to-end traceability.
- Collaborate with Hardware Engineering, R&D, and suppliers to deliver scalable, cost-effective production outcomes.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field required.
- Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline preferred.
