Principal Product Marketing Manager

Job Description

We’re looking for a Principal Product Marketing Manager to join Procore’s global product and technology organization as a groundbreaking leader. In this role, they will develop and drive positioning, packaging, messaging and launch Procore AI solutions designed to revolutionize how construction is done and effectively differentiate Procore in the market. The Principal Product Marketing Manager will help formulate and communicate the strategic vision for how the Procore AI platform demonstrates value and ROI for construction professionals and will work with cross-functional collaborators to ensure this vision is amplified across all channels. 

The Principal Product Marketing Manager will work closely with Product Management to develop a deep understanding of Procore’s AI products and platform. The team member will also collaborate with the global marketing organization to ensure effective planning, communication and execution of the overall go-to-market  strategy. They will need to be technically oriented, as well as an effective and inspiring storyteller.

This position reports to the Sr. Director, Product Marketing, and will be based in our Austin, TX office. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and own product positioning, messaging and value propositions based on customer challenges that differentiate Procore in the marketplace.
  • Craft engaging audience-specific content, including case studies, solution briefs, web content, presentations, data sheets, messaging documents, pitch decks, blogs and white papers that can be utilized globally.
  • Conduct ROI/TCO analysis and develop outcome based content to help customers make the business case for Procore.
  • Understand market trends, customer requirements, usage and buying behavior, and the partner ecosystem to better identify market opportunities and customer demand for the Procore platform.
  • Define the go-to-market plays working closely with product, sales, and marketing counterparts to define the target audiences, personas and messaging required to reach them effectively.
  • Effectively integrate Product Marketing requirements into the product lifecycle framework. 

What we're looking for:

  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing and related marketing functions in $100 million+ B2B technology companies.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills to explain and translate complex technology concepts into simple, intuitive and inspiring communications.
  • Experience in building compelling portfolio, platform and product level messaging and narratives to support the product strategy and related business objectives.  
  • Experience building trusted relationships with a broad network of product, marketing and sales key stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting an Integrated GTM motion that includes sales, channel and services partners, strategic alliances and technology ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated experience building credibility and delivering results for product teams, sales teams and customers.
  • Experience in the construction industry and or the con-tech landscape is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, marketing, business, or equivalent work experience; MBA is a plus.

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $160,000 - $220,000. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Eligible for Equity Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
