Patient Service Representative - Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred

We are seeking a compassionate and customer-focused Patient Representative to join our team. This position plays a key role as one of the first points of contact within the department, ensuring that every patient, visitor, and colleague is treated with professionalism, respect, and warmth.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish and passionate about serving a primarily Spanish-speaking population, helping ensure every patient feels heard, understood, and supported throughout their care experience.

• Answer incoming phone calls and respond promptly to patient inquiries and requests.
• Greet and assist customers in person, providing accurate information and exceptional service.
• Coordinate communication between patients, staff, and other departments.
• Schedule appointments efficiently and accurately.
• Assist with special projects and complete assignments within designated timeframes.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1.               High School diploma or equivalent required.

2.               Minimum of one year experience in customer service.

3.               Six (6) months experience in a health care setting and office equipment preferred.

4.               Current BLS certificate.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $18.15 to $24.69. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
