- Proven leadership of finance teams in PE/VC-backed or growth-stage companies, preferably SaaS/EdTech/Healthcare.
- Deep experience with FP&A, financial modeling, forecasting, controls, and KPI-driven management.
- Experience leading financial diligence and modeling for M&A and working with external advisors.
- Strong technical aptitude with finance systems, ERP/BI tools, and familiarity with AI-enabled tooling.
- Exceptional communication, executive presence, and ability to tell a compelling story with numbers.
Responsibilities
- Lead and scale the finance organization across FP&A, accounting, and billing to drive operational excellence and strategic partnership.
- Partner cross-functionally to set financial goals, track performance, and align spend to strategic priorities.
- Manage FP&A cadence, board and investor reporting, and provide concise financial narratives to executives and stakeholders.
- Support organic and inorganic growth: evaluate investments, lead financial diligence for acquisitions, and model strategic scenarios.
- Translate operational drivers into financial strategy for pricing, resourcing, and growth decisions.
- Drive standardization and optimization of data analytics and KPIs in partnership with the Data team.
- Implement finance systems, automation, and AI tools to streamline workflows and accelerate decision-making.
- Represent finance with executive leadership and external investors; support fundraising and investor relations as needed.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (required).
- MBA, CPA, or equivalent advanced finance credential preferred.
