Continuous Improvement Coordinator Responsibilities:
The Continuous Improvement Coordinator (CIC) will be responsible for ensuring that the dealership meets Elite Support requirements on an ongoing basis and ensures they meet all Elite Support criteria to be certified on an annual basis. The CIC will promote a culture of Continuous Improvement through change management, personal effectiveness, coaching, team building, problem solving and ensuring the dealerships goals match the strategy and vision of Premier Truck Group
Promote a culture of Elite Support and Continuous Improvement
Meet Elite Support criteria annually
Fulfill reporting requirements as outlined by Elite Support Criteria
Hold/Facilitate Change Management Meetings (at least 1 per month)
Use Structured Problem Solving to find opportunities for improvement.
Be the Leader & Champion for Elite Support & CI
Work with Premier’s Dealer Family CIC (DFCIC) to ensure the dealerships strategy and vision for CI is aligned with Premier corporate strategy and vision
Train and coach department managers on how to set up a communication board/s
Attend department ran Huddles, assist managers as needed with documents for the boards
Assist department managers develop and map out processes
Have a working knowledge of department processes
Seek to eliminate waste and streamline processes
Be an active participant on the HUB & use the tools in the HUB
Attend PTG CIC only Web meetings
Be prepared to share best practices with PTG CIC group
Network with other PTG CIC’s ( Share openly & borrow proudly)
Continuous Improvement Coordinator Requirements:
Education - A high school diploma or GED is required. Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four -year college or university is preferred. Awareness of lean Six Sigma green principles / lean management preferred. Combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
