Skills
- Proven experience building internal tools and automation workflows
- Hands-on experience with AI frameworks and providers (e.g., OpenAI) and AI/ML tooling
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and JavaScript
- Experience with prompt engineering and context management
- Familiarity with integration/automation platforms (Zapier, Workato) and low-code tools (Retool, Streamlit)
- Strong communication skills and ability to train/enable non-technical users
- Product-focused delivery: rapid prototyping, iteration, and pragmatic trade-offs
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify operational inefficiencies and translate them into technical solutions
- Design, prototype, build, and maintain internal tools and automations to increase employee productivity
- Rapidly prototype AI-enabled utilities and deploy usable solutions to end users
- Manage multiple projects, structure work into sprints, and prioritize for time-to-value
- Document solutions and deliver training to ensure adoption and long-term success
- Evaluate third-party AI tools and lead build-vs-buy decision making
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred or equivalent practical experience
- Relevant certifications or coursework in AI, data, or automation are a plus
- Demonstrable portfolio of internal tools, automations, or AI projects preferred
