Private Credit Trade Support Associate
Skills
- Strong knowledge of direct lending, syndicated loan mechanics, CLOs and SRTs
- Working knowledge of Geneva portfolio/accounting systems
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros) and data manipulation
- Experience with loan settlement, agency communications and trade affirmation (e.g., ClearPar)
- Understanding of LSTA/LMA documentation standards
- Reconciliations and cash forecasting experience
- Accounting for private credit transactions (accruals, PIK, OID, fee amortization, waterfalls)
- Experience with portfolio, risk management or loan servicing systems
- Comfort collaborating with internal teams and external counterparties
- Strong attention to detail and ability to operate in a deadline-driven environment
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain end-to-end operational support and static/reference data for private credit assets.
- Process trade entry and manage lifecycle events across direct lending, syndicated loans, CLOs, SRTs and other private credit products.
- Reconcile positions, accruals, cash activity and P&L between borrowers, servicers, custodians, agents and the general ledger.
- Review deal documentation and support closing workflows, funding coordination and cash movement oversight.
- Prepare and update cash forecasts; coordinate funding with Treasury and oversee timely cash execution.
- Support leverage and financing workflows; monitor accruals, payments and credit facility activity.
- Partner with investment professionals and external servicers to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Design, enhance and document workflows, controls and operational procedures; drive automation and process improvements.
- Maintain reporting and control standards for private credit accounting items (accruals, PIK, fee amortization, OID, waterfalls).
- Support onboarding of new workflows, system builds and operational scaling for the private credit platform.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, business administration or related field
- Relevant coursework or certification in finance/accounting preferred
