Plural is building the capital layer for the electron economy. We help finance distributed infrastructure — from solar farms to batteries to bitcoin mines — by tokenizing assets and opening up access to capital. Our platform bridges institutional investors, DeFi participants, and renewable project developers through a unified, programmable investment stack.
We’ve built the regulatory, operational, and technical rails to service complex capital flows — but we're just getting started. Now we’re looking for a designer to help us make those flows intuitive, elegant, and powerful.
The assets that produce, store, and consume electrons will define the next era of the economy. But today, financing these assets is slow, expensive, and fragmented — locked behind legacy intermediaries and limited access. Plural is changing that. Our approach lowers costs, increases transparency, and enables scalable capital formation for the energy transition — trusted, composable, and built for efficiency.
As our first dedicated product designer, you’ll own the user experience across our core products:
Issuer Hub: onboard renewable energy developers, manage cap tables and distributions, and structure project financings
Investor Portal: provide clear, performant dashboards, entity views, and cash flow reporting for LPs and GPs
Marketplace Flows: connect capital to projects through clean investment flows, permissions, and CRM-style communication tooling
Wallet & Token UX (future-facing): explore how smart contracts, custody, and on-chain integrations can unlock composability and programmable capital
We’re designing for institutional investors and sophisticated operators — but we believe financial tools shouldn’t feel like legacy software. You’ll help us ship enterprise-grade systems with consumer-level clarity and delight.
You’ll also have the opportunity (if desired) to shape and evolve our brand and visual identity, contributing to everything from design systems to investor-facing storytelling.
Lead design for the end-to-end investor and issuer experience across web-based apps
Translate complex financial/legal/crypto concepts into understandable, user-friendly UI
Partner closely with product, engineering, and founders to define flows and UX systems
Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and design documentation
Establish and evolve our design system — from components to interaction patterns to design tokens
Help define and evolve our visual language and brand, especially as we scale
Collaborate on investor-facing materials and product storytelling, if that’s an area of interest
5+ years experience designing polished, user-facing B2B or financial applications
Comfort with complex information architecture and multi-role UX (e.g. admin vs investor vs issuer)
Experience working on data-rich interfaces — dashboards, tables, workflows, document/data management
Portfolio showcasing clear systems thinking and clean, modern interaction design
Ability to move between product definition, UX flow, and high-fidelity polish
High agency, collaborative spirit, and startup instinct — you know when to push vs perfect
Experience with fintech, marketplaces, or back-office systems (e.g. Carta, Mercury, Ramp, Stripe, Juniper Square)
Familiarity with crypto or DeFi design patterns (wallets, staking, governance, token-based flows)
Prior work on permissioned systems, cap table or entity management tools, or tokenized marketplaces
Interest or experience in brand design, visual identity, or storytelling — we’re open to growing the role in that direction if it excites you
Desire to grow into a founding design leader, eventually mentoring others and shaping the full design function
We’re backed by top investors and operate at the intersection of real-world infrastructure and programmable finance. You’ll join a small, fast-moving team tackling problems that matter — and designing interfaces that unlock trust and capital at global scale.
Real ownership over product and design
Diverse user base: project developers, institutional allocators, DAO treasuries, and more
Mission-driven: supporting the energy transition and capital access
Small, thoughtful team with deep experience in crypto, finance, and infrastructure
