WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are currently seeking an Information Technology Support Instructional Assistant to join our organization. This person will join our Curriculum & Adult Learning organization. They will be responsible for the following:

Overall Focus:

Candidates should be able to provide effective support in the classroom and be eager to grow their own technical knowledge. In particular, they should be able to:

• Assist the lead instructor both in and out-of-class in the teaching and administration of the class.
• Display knowledge and/or interest in the following areas: information technology, software and hardware support, network administration, technology education

What You’ll Do:

Out-of-Class Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Assist and/or collaborate with the instructor to:
• Grade and/or review assessments, class projects, and other materials o Enter student grades into LMS software and grading templates o           Update Salesforce data as necessary
• Review curriculum materials and assessments weekly and report to instructor and curriculum development team any proofreading or subject-matter errors o Assist instructor with the preparation of daily agenda to students o     Schedule time with instructor and students to discuss class challenges
• Monitor learner attendance, certifications’ progress, etc.

In-Class Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Monitor class as it is in progress - checking that overall functionality (audio, video, screen appearance, etc.) is working as needed
• Serve as class timekeeper, monitor breaks and other scheduling information
• Monitor students during test-taking and break-out group activities
• Note challenges presented during class, including (but not limited to) students who:
• Seem disengaged or uninvolved with class activities
• Are speaking more than other students (dominating) or are typically quiet

For this role specifically,we are targeting a salary of $41,600.00/year, where the difference in salary is typically determined by several factors, including geography in which the selected candidate resides, and alignment with qualifications and experience.
